Ultimately it will come down to a culmination of the opinions of many and perhaps, most importantly, your own “gut feeling” as to what will be best for you in the long run. Surgery Residents: These individuals may often be your best source of information. Ask both current CU residents as well as those at the programs you visit. At each program you visit, you will most likely be provided a list of current resident email addresses. Take advantage of this opportunity.
