What is the best sounding audio playback software available for pc?
“best” sounding audio playback software? Without knowing what speed the computer is, what sound card is in the computer, and what type of speaker system the computer is connected to, this question is almost impossible to answer. As an award winning sound mixer/designer using a modest PC I suggest the following: 1. Speed – The computer must be at least 1Ghz (giga-hertz) or faster. Along with speed you will need RAM and lots of it. Minimum 1gb (gigabyte) or more. Sound going through the system needs to free and clear of any discrepancies. If the computer is slow and has low RAM your sound recordings and playback will be marred by ticks, pops, and missing sound bits. 2. Audio Card – If the computer does not have a seaparate sound card installed then the computer is using the built-in audio installed on the motherboard.
