What is the best solution to remove ink from clothing?
My husband has a thing for leaving pens in his pocket. Well one exploded in my dryer just the other day. All over MY new clothes! I was pissed to say the least. Anyways, I soaked the clothes in hot water with about seven scoups of oxi-clean, let it soak overnight. Then the next day I washed them in Tide and oxi-clean and beleive it or not, my clothes came clean. I then soaked some old bath towels in bleach water, rung them out, then dried them in the dryer to get the ink stains off of the dryer. It worked good but didn’t remove all ink. Once the ink is dryed in your dryer, it won’t transfer to clothes anymore.
