What is the best software program to run a spirit and wine import company?
In my opinion, it depends on the volume of sales, what kind of reporting you may want, how many people are on the payroll – you could get something like Quicken, or use Excel spreadsheets (generally not the best idea as it can become a mess and a pain to deal with in the short/long term), or use MS Access to create a front-end (a user interface). My guess would be to use something like Quicken (or some freeware equivalent if you don’t have the $50 or so – I don’t know how much it costs; it may be less than $50) unless it can’t do what you need out of the box. If that is true, you probably should then Google some freeware that will fulfill your needs (i.e., whatever you need to track – import/export values, business names, addresses, billing, reporting, invoicing, etc.) MS Access is great for customization and reporting but you will need someone with some knowledge of VBA (a “subset” of the Visual Basic programming language) and you’ll have to plan out what “elements” (business partners
