What is the best science slogan for our contest?
I can’t think of anything right now, but try non science slogans. Years ago, several Joes and I were working on a system to get telephones into our FOB, and the slogan we came up with was SORDS (Soldier Operated Remote Data Systems). Sure, a sword is a weapon, but it was different enough. Write down a bunch of words that pertain to your contest. Find ones that you and your friends like the best, and find a way to fit them together. I love MOUT – Military Operations in Urban Terrain – One letter per word. But those damn SINGARS never take their fill correectly – Single-Channel Ground-Air Radio System – A little hear and there. Also, don’t do the whole DNA thing. Just screams geek. Find an acronym that sounds cool to say. Good luck.
