What is the best SAT Writing Score I can get with getting a 4 on my Essay?
Not Much. You need to work on your essay score. I mean it’s not that difficult to recieve at least an 8 on the essay scoring. If you did not know, just in case you don’t, the essay is scored by two different individuals. The two individuals give you two seperate scores which add up to make up your score for the essay portion of the test. For example, if i got a 4 like you did then it means, most likely, that you got a 2 and 2 from both of your essay readers. This is not a great score considering 1 is the lowest out of 6. The highest score when combine with the two scores is a 12. You need to practice your essay writing, that is a no-brainer. If you want to practice, what you should do is get an SAT testing book which provides practice tests with essay questions in them. Time yourself each time you take the essay portion, write the essay out, and ask a professional (i.e a professor or teacher) to check the essay. Do this continuously and learn from your mistakes.
