What is the best rifle?
Generally if you dont already have one, a BRNO model 2 is a suitable beginners rifle or a CZ. As people become more “serious”, they tend to buy a “heavy barrelled” target rifle such as an Anschutz (any Anschutz with a Match 54 trigger is a good investment), BRNO Model 4, Walther, and of course Martini actioned rifles. There are a number of other rifles that are suitable, however they are too numerous to mention. If you should buy a model 2 BRNO type rifle and then move on to a heavy barrelled rifle, dont worry, your “light barrelled” rifle is still good for Hunter Rifle type competitions.
