We have two favorites that we’ve gone to both times we were on the island. Both of these places are on Periwinkle Way — the main street through the island. When you get to Sanibel, you’ll find lots of tourist info. One of the things we look for is the booklet of restaurant menus. We decide where to go based on what we want to eat. They have an amazing choice of toppings for your burger. Plus you can get custom flavored soda/pop like green apple or raspberry. And for desert, lots of ice cream and shakes.
