What is the best reflectivity of the dome surface?
Contrary to many peoples initial thoughts, a white surface is definitely not the best. One characteristic/problem of digital projection into hemispherical domes is multiple reflections of light within the dome. This results in low contrast images and more directly, lightening of a dark regions by bright objects in other regions. For domes that will be used for fulldome digital projection a reflectively of 50% should be considered a maximum.
