Hi Maria I would definitely recommend a high quality puppy food, you need a calorie-dense food with a good source of protein as a first ingredient. Cheaper/generic foods have a lot of fillers, additives etc. and these have no nutritional value whatsoever. Puppy Chow isn’t a high quality food, and Pitbulls are a very muscular breed, the pups grow fast and need excellent nutrition in order to reach their full potential.
