What is the best preparation for reaching a state of hypnosis?
• Your coach will give specific directions for each exercise. In addition, these general suggestions will prove helpful: • (1) It makes no difference whether you sit up or lie down, but be sure you are comfortable, and that your clothing does not hamper or confine you. • (2) Learn to relax. Deep breathing helps to relax. The more you relax, the more comfortable you are, the easier it is for you to move into a state of hypnosis. It will not do any harm to practice throughout the day.
