What is the best pool cue for a beginner?

0

I’ve been starting to play pool rather frequently recently. I’m looking to upgrade from just whatever house cue they have to a two piece that can be my own. I want to get a good brand and ideally the best stick for the cheapest price. Anybody have any suggestions? Also, I have commitment issues so if you can recommend 1 certain cue that would really help me out. I have been looking at the cheap cues from Cuetec, McDermott, Players, and similar brands but can’t make up my mind. I just want the best entry level cue out there for the cheapest price. Thanks! If you can, get up into the $100-150 range. McDermott and Viking are good investments and offer lifetime warranties. Lucasi and Players hit well too, but I’m not sure about their warranty. I started out with a Cuetec, but got a McDermott when I began to get serious and it worked out really well. If you make some friends at a pool hall, maybe you can see if you can try out some of their cues to see what you like.
