What is the best paint to use on clay ?
If you ask how to paint clay, earth clay is usually glazed and fired in the kiln. If you ask how to paint sculpey (oven cured clay), then acrylics will work best. If you ask how to paint plasticine, I suggest you buy different colors and build your sculpture. If you must paint it, I guess oil paints should work, but I don’t recommend it.
