I recommend Mr. Stripper because it works great, and unlike other strippers, does not use water to stop the action of the remover. Therefore, raising of the wood grain is not a problem. In addition, you spray it on, so you don’t have to worry about only brushing in one direction. Q: Johnnie, my roof has black streaks on it. They are very noticeable since the roof is white. Can I use JoMax to clean the roof? A: You sure can. Combine a pint of JoMax with three pints of Clorox bleach in a pump-up sprayer. Fill with water. Spray the mixture on the roof, starting at the top and working your way down. Scrub any stubborn spots with an old stiff brush or broom. Rinse with clean water.
