What is the best OTC anti-perspirant?

Yes, there are prescription anti-perspirants. I haven’t used them in years, but they work similar to the new Secret one in that you apply it at night and shower it off the next morning. I tried it but couldn’t put up with the burning sensation. Again, that was a few years ago, things might have gotten better. It’s worth talking to your doctor about though, because if its only since having children that you perspire so much, it might be something hormonal that your doctor could help you with as well. I believe Botox injections can also be used to halt sweat production for periods of time. Finally, if you are REALLY desperate, there is a surgery you can get that will permanently stop your glands in chosen areas from producing sweat. But the pros and cons of that would take a whole separate post 😉 Best of luck to you! I am famous for the amount I sweat (NOT something a young adult female wants to be known for) so I really do feel your pain!
