what is the best nipple to use for a bottle fed newborn baby?
I have tried every bottle and nipple that they make, but my 4 week old is having difficulty with all of them. She sucks and gulps, she spits up a lot now, she has really bad gas, she cries a lot during feedings, and she squirms a lot. She throws her head back and spits out the nipple and coughs like she’s drowning. The dr. just says its trial and error, but every bottle has been error. She can’t get a good latch on most nipples, so her suction is really bad. Other newborn nipples seem to come out to fast, some too slow. I need help with this. Her dr. is of no help. So any suggestions would be wonderful. Also, with all of the struggle in the middle of the night she is left wide a wake so no one including her gets sleep.
