What is the best MP3 player to get that isn an iPod/ and is Mac compatible?
Weird. You want Mac compatible, but not the one brand that’s made by the same company? I never would have expected to see that question asked. But since you asked it, because the Mac user base is so small compared to the PC user base, I’d be shocked if any of the high-end players (i.e. 30GB+ w/ video function) have any built-in Mac compatibility at all, but the really low-end models that function more as USB flash drives that will also play any audio files that are stored on them don’t require any complicated software interfaces to be loaded up with music (the downsides being that you have to load every song manually, and, uh, what are playlists?). The other option is to use 3rd Party software to coopt a non-iPod player into use with a Mac-supporting software interface.
