What is the best mic to use on metal(screaming) vocals while recording ?
any vocal mic would do i suggest buying a good condenser mic dosent have to be too expensive just a decent one would do and then i recommend a pop filter it reduces the amount of force thats going into the mic so the mic isnt taking so much distorted sound from thew scream also if you go with a condenser your going to need a pre amp or an interface for my vocals i have an audio interface and to fix the distorted vocals i turn down the volume of my mics a little but and also lessen the gain hope that helps a little bit
