What is the best method to print a document?
Documents available through the DCS can be either “viewed” (OPEN) or “printed” (SAVE). When you OPEN a document from the DCS you should notice the document is still being displayed by the Internet Explorer browser program. Web browsers are good tools for viewing text and graphics, but not necessarily for printing in a structured format like a form. To always ensure a document will print properly, first SAVE the document to your local or network drive and then open the saved file. The file you saved will open in it’s native application and printing can then be accomplished from within MS Word or Excel.
