What is the best method for cleaning piano keys?
A slightly dampened cloth is the best starting point. Then buff the keys with a soft dry cloth. Caution! Do not use too much water on the cloth as this could soak through to the wood beneath the key covering and warp the keys or cause further damage to other parts of the piano. Do not use any chemical cleaning compounds on the keys unless you are sure it is safe to do so.
