what is the best location in Falls Church Virginia?
Good advice from Gus. It really depends on what you mean by “best,” of course. I own a rental property in West Falls Church–a few blocks behind the Giant on West Broad Street, and I really like that area. Transportation-wise, it’s close to Tyson’s. It’s just a couple of blocks from 66, and just a few blocks from Route 7. It’s close to the West Falls Church Metro. It’s close to shopping. And it’s a pretty area. A relative of mine owns a home nearby–across Route 7 in Zip Code 22043. That’s also a nice area. Not quite walking distance to Metro, but it has most of the other advantages. And it’s easy to access Lee Highway. I grew up (a long, long time ago) in South Woodley, off of Route 50. While that’s certainly convenient (close to 7 Corners, close to Route 50), I don’t like that area as much. It’s been harder hit by the mortgage meltdown, and some of the houses on that side of Route 50 just aren’t quite as nice. If schools are important–and as Realtors we can’t comment on “good” schoo
