What is the best Japanese restauraunt in Seattle?
Ototo makes beautiful traditional Japanese food. Everything tastes as good as it looks, from the Edamame to tempura to sushi to, my favorite, sashimi. Definitely check out the combo menu – for the freshness and variety of the food you’re getting, the prices are awesome. My favourite combo is the Chirashi – you get sliced fish and other tasty treats, like daikon and cucumber, on a bed of rice. It’s perfect for lunch or even dinner, especially in combination with the tempura appetizer. Whatever you do, do NOT miss out on dessert! I can’t even pick a favorite – when I’m really full I go for a scoop of the mango ice cream, but when I have a little room left it’s all about the chocolate calzone or Taiyaki strawberry shortcake.
