What is the best input signal connection dvi-d and 15 pin d-miniature and its advantages?
DVI-D. the 15 pin HD D shell was never designed to carry the higher frequencies. The pin/socket design of the DVI connector gives a much better connection. Analog means that the digital signal from the GPU needs to be converted to analog in the computer, sent to the monitor over a lossy cable, then the analog signal needs to be re-sampled to convert it back to a digital signal for the monitor. This is generally done pretty well, but not always. DVI-D takes the digital signal from the GPU and sends it digitally to the monitor. The only time analog can be preferred is if there is some problem, such as a lot of noise. Digital systems tend to work well or not work at all. A poor picture is preferable to no picture at all.
