What is the best indicator for my community that could help both the people and the administration better understand the problem of sustainability?
We don’t advocate single indicators in general because the system that is being modeled (a community which has myriad economic, social, and enviromental subsystems) is too complex for one indicator to adequately inform all the decisions that need to be made.
