What is the best Humorous Novel you have read?
Janet Evanovich has written a series of books about a young woman, Stephanie Plum, who is a bounty hunter. (When I ready these, I picture Sandra Bullock playing Stephanie) She got the job only because her cousin owns the place and she has dirt on him. She has a totally dysfunctional family. She eats junk food, has a pet hampster named Rex, always stopping by her parents for a meal. Gramma lives with them, always making Stephanie take her to whatever wake is being held. There is too much for me to write about, but I think each book is so funny. It’s very seldom I actually laugh out loud at a book. These do it to me. I’m about to read book number 12, I believe number 13 was released this year. The names of the books have the number in the title, such as “One For the Money”, “Seven Up”, “Ten Big Ones”, you get the idea. She has written several others that are not part of the Stephanie Plum series, but just as funny.
