In this article I’m going to go over the 3 most popular home remedies to whiten teeth, and the pros and cons of each. 1. Whitening strips, (the most popular being Crest WhiteStrips or on the internet), which are available from your local pharmacy. Pros: Have been clinically proven to work well for some people. Plus, they’re safe, convenient to use, and not as messy as using trays. Cons: They can get quite expensive if you want the best and quickest results. If you want the advanced brand, you’ll be paying approximately $80. 2. Hydrogen peroxide (using trays). Available in your local pharmacy or on the internet. Pros: Also have been proven to whiten teeth, and generally fastest home remedy results. Cons: You really get what you pay for, so don’t go for the cheapest brand.
