What is the best heroic death scene in a movie or TV series ever?
I have seen many over the years but my favorite remains the death of Spock from Star Trek/The Wrath of Kahn. Mr. Spock gives up his life to save the Enterprise and her crew. Spock is exposed to horrendous amounts of radiation which is quickly killing him. Captain Kirk rushes to his friends side whereupon Spock tells him “Don’t grieve, the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few or the one……I have been and always will be your friend. Live long and prosper.” It was a surprising and emotional scene. No one expected Spock’s death. If you haven’t seen it perhaps you should give it a try.
