Not the best but very good is the Panasonic plasma TH46PZ85U. I own one and am not disappointed, it is full HD and has a 480hz sub drive. Plasma TV’s need to be in a room that you can control the lighting in ( glare off screen ) for best results, basement is the best place. The best LCD runs at 120hz compared to plasma at 480hz ( way better for sports and video games ), the color is better on plasma ( non HD picture is far better on plasma ). NOTE: With Panasonic plasma there is no screen burn as some people claim ( Check Panasonic internet site, they will verify. Plus my son plays his PS3 steady and no damage ). As for sports TSN HD is great.
