Nikon Laser 500G, (‘G’ is for golf version): 1). It’s 6 times magnification vs others only 4 time magnification so ‘hitting the stick is easy. 2). It’s specifically program for golf and bounces off the first object it hits which on a golf course is the flag stick. The others come from hunting and are programed to ignore smaller objects so many times it misses the stick and hits objects behind the green. 3) It’s the smallest and lightest, so it’s easy to hold and aim, and it will easily fit into golf shorts/pant pockets. 4). My golf partner had a Bushnell and after a year of difficulties getting good readings and wasting time trying he just put his away and asking me what my Nikon read. He gave the Bushnell to his Son-In-Law and bought a Nikon. He says the Nikon is far better than the Bushnell for ease of hitting the stick/flag and speed of getting a reading. He’s a real 4 handicap player and I’m a real crappy 18 but I love my Nikon.
