What is the best gaming/performance pc and laptop out there?
First of all, don’t expect the same level of performance with a laptop that you could get with a desktop. What you want to look for is the video card and processor type. The Dell desktop has a GTX-280 and Core-i7, both of which are top of the line. The Rock laptop has an older Geforce 9800 and a processor based on the older Core 2 architecture, which is at best a midrange gaming setup. That laptop can probably play the newest games right now, some of them at the highest settings. Within a couple of years, that laptop may no longer be able to run the latest games at all. Since laptops can’t be upgraded, you would likely need to replace it in a couple of years to play the latest games. The desktop, on the other hand, can run any current games at the highest settings, and should be able to run anything that comes out in the next few years. Even then, you can probably get a relatively inexpensive upgrade (like a new video card and/or more memory), to keep running games on it even longer. T
