What Is The Best Fresh Water Fishing Bait?
Any of the minnow family of baitfish will make an excellent fresh water fishing bait, but in my opinion, once again, personal opinion only, I prefer to use big old fat wild shiners. I have caught more fish over 5 pounds using a wild shiner than on any other type of bait. Even caught more on shiners than on a handful of baits combined. There isn’t any explanation needed, big predator fish love a big prey fish to dine on, plain and simple. If you plan on keeping your catch, you are going to need to follow a few regulations.
