What is the best freeware music looping software for windows XP?
The most similar windows product to garage band is Sony Acid (which actually is the first product of it’s kind to be popular and was emulated to a degree by Garageband), but it is not free. They have a free version but it sucks in comparison to garageband. Try the free one though if you need to simply play with loops. www.acidplanet.com. If I were you , I would give reaper a try. It’s not technically free, but the trial is fully functional . It just gives a nag screen when you start it. It is actually far more powerful than garageband . To actually buy is only $50, but if you are strapped for funds, you still can use it.
