What is the best free personal finance software?
I have the left the question open-ended, so you can mention any software (including desktop applications, web services, iPhone apps) that helps people with any aspect of personal finance. Anything to do with financial management for individuals and families rather than organizations is fair game, including software that may be equally useful to small organizations as to households. The software should be free, or at least available in a permanently free version that is ample for basic users. An example of software that would count is Gnucash, though I’m not sure if there are better alternatives.
