I have been using limewire for years and made the mistake to upgrade to pro. Not worth the money. Just use limewire basic. Programs like limewire do not have viruses, but it can give you a virus by using it the wrong way. One advise I can give you. What ever you download, music, video, never ever download any file of around 1000/1100kb or less. They are ALL infected. When you stay away from those files you should be quite safe. In case a virus slips through, your virus scanner, if updated, should find it and warn you in time.
