What is the best format to archive or edit my footage at home?
If you require a higher quality copy of your transfer to keep for future use we recommend you order an archive copy on mini DV tape. The DV format is ideal for archiving and you can use it to edit your films via computer with a DV camcorder and suitable editing software. Another option is AVI or Quicktime files. They are quicker to load onto your hard drive for editing but Mini DV tape is better for permanent storage. You can choose this service on our price calculator or order form.
