What is the best football team of all time?
National team: Brazil 1970. Won the World Cup displaying skill, swagger, poise and a great team ethic. Individually they were nearly all brilliant players and they managed to click as a team. European cub side: Milan 1994. Best ever club display I have witnessed was the 1994 European Cup Final, where Milan beat favourites Barcelona 4 0. The Spanish club couldn’t get the ball off them. It was as if someone had said an Italian team could only play defensive football. Milan proved that was not true. Domestic team: Celtic 1967 or Nottingham Forest 1978-80. Celtic won the European Cup with a team made up of players all born within a 30 mile radius of Glasgow. Forest came up from the old Division 2 and won the League, then 2 consecutive European Cups. They did so without any superstars and knocked out Liverpool on their way to winning the European Cup in 1979. Not only were Liverpool the holders of the trophy but arguably the best team in the world at that time.
