What is the best fertilizer to use for my vegetable garden?
To keep your vegetables growing well and to make sure they are not too effected by very hot spells, you need to mulch your garden with semi-rotted leaves or some other organic mulch (not wood chips). If your plants still need a boost, then use Miracle-Gro. It works great, but it is like putting your plants on steroids, and they become more susceptible to drought and to diseases. Don’t use animal waste directly. It needs to be composted first and mixed with plant material before it is suitable for use on a vegetable garden.
