When buying fertilizer, try to keep the numbers from going over 30. I use 10-10-10. Good all around fertilizer. 10 percent nitrogen,10 percent potash, 10 percent phosphate. If you stay below 30 most times the fertilizer is made out of natural ingredients. If you go above then you get what some guy cooked up in a lab.
