Not to be a complete wiseass but the best fertility drug is the one that works for you . . . there are many fertility medications and treatments but they address different issues. The best thing to do is keep trying for a few more months, track your ovulation with ovulation predictor kits or use a site like www.fertilityfriend.com to track your temperatures, take your prenatal vitamins and have fun. If you do not get lucky, consult your doctor. Some couples go through something called secondary infertility when they struggle to conceive a second child and even having a child previously does not rule out a fertility issue now. You cannot purchase drugs legally without a prescription from your doctor and things like herbal and “natural” remedies are not regulated and if taken incorrectly can mess up your cycle. Be sure to take a prenatal vitamin if you are not already doing so . . . and a multi-vitamin for your husband wouldn’t hurt. Best wishes & baby dust!
