Traditionally it’s doing endless crunches and hours of cardio on the threadmill (and pointlessly lifting pink weights on a toy ball) , but if what everyone was doing and recomending was so good , then everyone would end up looking like a fitness model , in reality they do it for years and the only change in thier bodies beyond the newbie progress is the trendy excersise clothes they wear.l hehe , if you got some decent level of aerobic fitness , I reccomend doing interval training like HIIT or the tabata method , there hard , everyone pussies out of doing it , but they work the best. banking calories by eating “diet” junk and diong hours on the threadmill is a vicious cycle of uselessness , too bad many girls fall for that.

Well, as I’ve always heard having more muscle mass will help you burn more fat. I am quite sure you will find this is true. It is important to burn fat within your fat burning range for your age range with cardio, but just as important is doing some weight training (doesn’t have to be major and make you look like a bodybuilder or anything), because when you build up the muscle, you will burn the calories more quickly than if your body has mostly a high fat percentage. I know this, but I don’t follow it : ) So start with some basic weights for your legs, arms, back and other main areas of your body and go from there.

I think if you want to burn fat, running is a great exercise. But you have to be careful that you wear a good pair of running shoes (better go to sports store for advice or buy a runners magazine, they usually have good tips on what kind of sneakers to buy) as running is a high impact sport and can lead to injuries, if not equipped and trained properly. You should start by running at a slow pace for about 15minutes, three times a week to build up your endurance. You´ll know when you´re ready to increase your running time but I would recommend to stick with this regime for at least a month. Having a running buddy can help you keep motivated.
