Hi there! The flabbiness is probably due to some extra body fat. Thus, your best bet is to cut your calories to about 1500 per day and stay active to cut down the body fat. Then, abdominal crunches are good, but should be done with back extensions to fully develop the muscularity of your core. This approach is good. However, you should not go below 10% body fat. If you do, you run a risk to your body. Further tightening at this point would have to come from liposuction if you deemed it necessary.
