What is the best direction to cut, clockwise or counterclockwise?

Always move in a clockwise direction when cutting with any spiral saw, unless you are cutting out for an electrical box in drywall. Then we would recommend going in a counter clockwise direction with the Drywall bit. It has a guidepoint on it that will travel around the electrical box. By moving counterclockwise, the guidepoint will stay tighter against the electrical box.
