What is the best country to live within the EU?
To be honest, I personally would advise to stay where you are for the time being. The credit crunch is ‘old news’ in the US, but in Europe it is starting to bite. As a result with the UK comment (dynamic economy) I would totally disagree. Here in the Netherlands for example we have lower unemployement, higher GDP and a more stable ecomony than the UK. If you get BBC World News over there, you only have to turn it on to see what I mean. The economy of the UK has slowed since the beginning of the year and now there are major warnings about a massive recession. As a result the government are also talking about further restrictions on immigration as being one of the measures to appease the general public. What other measures they choose to take only remains to be seen. Other EU countries are not necessarily as badly affected, but it is too early to say if this will remain the case or not.
