It depends on the level of service you are looking for. For example, is internet access good enough for you, or do you prefer a bank with local branches? For me, Etrade offers the ease of online access but reasonable interest. On the other hand, Citi bank has many local branches but low or no interet in checking. The best site that helps you to compare interest offers is www.bankrate.com. It also rates the reputation of the bank.
