I got the Tom Tom ONE for Christmas, and use it several times a week. It’s inexpensive compared to others, and the best thing it’s portable from one car to the other. I like the fact that i just need to input an address, press calculate and it stored the location and starts telling me which way to go. We have found places I could have NEVER gotten to via directions, and in a pinch, it has an Alternate directions button that helps when there is a traffic jam. The best thing for me is it Tells me where to go, when to turn, and does so in a choice of several voices and languages. This way, I don’t have to keep looking at it, and can concentrate on the road. Very safe, and it has a night mode which has just the right brightness so it’s not too harsh on my eyes. You can get the Tom Tom ONE (pictured below) for under $260 if you shop around.
