If we’re talking about normal unflavored vodka, I like to mix it with sweet lime juice to make a vodka gimlet: 1 oz lime juice 1 1/2 oz vodka 1 tsp powdered sugar Stir all ingredients with ice, strain into a cocktail glass, and serve. For flavored vodkas, try mixing with Coke. You can make a cherry coke with a shot of cherry vodka, vanilla coke with vanilla vodka, etc. Another tasty option in the “vanilla creamcicle.” Mix a shot of vanilla vodka and a shot of orange vodka with about half a can of Orange Slice (or similar) over ice. It tastes just like the orange sherbet and vanilla ice cream creamcicle treats. It’s a little sweet for some people, so I’ve been know to leave out the orange vodka and substitute with unflavored vodka to cut the sweetness a little.
