What is the best bedding to use in a rattie cage?
Yep, Carefresh is fine. I do recommend freezing it, though, because I know people whose rats have gotten mites from the bedding. Another idea is to use fleece. I used to use bedding, tried fleece and never went back. They do eventually chew it up, but it saves a lot of $ that I had been spending on bedding. Just get two sets, wash one while you use the other. Mine last a good few months before I have to get new ones.
