What is the best bank to open a small business checking and savings account with?
I hunted for the checking account for my small business (based in IL). Comparing local banks to nationwide chains, and nothing could compare to LaSalle Bank’s Free Small Business Checking. http://www.lasallebank.com/small_business/free_checking.html No monthly maintenance fee, 500 free transactions, free ATM/debit card. You still pay some fees, but only on certain items that I wasn’t going to need very often (rolled coin, special auditing, etc.) For fees, look at page 4 of http://www.lasallebank.com/small_business/pdfs/LSB_Basicfee.pdf According to their website, LaSalle Bank is available in Florida.
