What Is The Best Approach For Teaching Natural Vs. Man-made Objects?

Grade 2: I use a variety of pictures that I print off of the computer and we discuss if each picture can be made in nature or if someone needs to make it. I then break my class into groups and we do some station work. I have 4 stations. 1) Sort the pictures into groups: Natural and Man-Made (I print out a variety of pictures and number them in no particular order). 2) Draw pictures of things that are natural and things that are man-made. 3) Draw a natural thing in a man-made environment. 4) Draw a man-made thing in a natural environment. I make a work page for each station and create a packet so that the students are able to work through each station and I am able to correct their packets after they are done to see how well they understand the difference between the two.
