What is the best (and worst) time of the year to rent the use of the building?
It depends on your market and region but normally winter is a good time in my experience. People have holiday spending to account for, and people are generally preoccupied so you aren’t competing with as many people. Summer is often a good time too as many people are very busy then too. Spring and fall in our business has always been the most productive time with the most demand and therefore best for our owner clients.
Anytime that works for your group will usually work for us. We run a haunted attraction the end of September and the month of October. We are heavily into construction on the haunt from August thru September. If you can stay away from those times it probably would offer you greater freedoms in the building as there would not be set construction going on.
